When you’re ready to take things to the next level, there are a few appliances that will give you a pretty great edge. I firmly believe that no one needs expensive doo-dads to make exquisite food. But if you’re going to spend the money, here are a few real gems that are, in my opinion, well worth it:
Traeger Grill - My smoker of choice! It's so easy to plug in, fill with whichever flavor pellets I prefer, and it adds amazing flavors to my proteins and vegetables. It's simple to use and it holds temp very precisely all year long. Best of all, you can literally “set it and forget it.” I have the Pro 780.
Vitamix - Another appliance that lives on my countertop...we use it daily and it is amazing! We use it for smoothies, to make sauces, soups...love it!
Anova Sous Vide - This is a kitchen technology that changed my life...definitely brought the level of restaurant dining to the home kitchen! You'll never have a better steak after a sous vide and quick sear!
