I’m Aly Romero, a private chef, brand ambassador, and media personality based in Dallas, TX. You may have seen me as a member of “The Meatball Mamas” on The Great Food Truck Race: Alaska on The Food Network, or perhaps you’ve heard about my new cookbook, “Gas Fire Heat.” But really, you can think of me as your friend who cooks—here to share my love for delicious food, great company, and fun experiences in the kitchen. I’ve always loved food, not just for its capacity to nourish and sustain us but also for its power to comfort and connect us. Across the world, food is a fundamental part of various cultures' traditions, celebrations, and milestones. Learning about, preparing, and sharing food with others is one of my greatest passions, and that’s why I started my food blog in 2016.

That blog led to my success as a brand ambassador, my career as a private chef, and my involvement with multiple philanthropic causes and media appearances on Good Morning America, The Chew, and The Food Network (I’m still pinching myself!). I am also excited to share that I just completed my first cookbook, “Gas Fire Heat,” published June 11, 2024, and can be found anywhere online where books are sold!
